At Bartlett Housing Solutions, we know that no one wants to be homeless – it’s dangerous, stressful, and humiliating. But, together, we can help!
Bartlett Housing Solutions focuses on assisting some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens in their own fight against homelessness. And for each individual, their journey, their struggle and their path forward is a little different as they work to overcome their homelessness. That is where our team and our programs can help identify, support and prepare each of our residents for the steps they need to overcome their homelessness.
In 2015, Bartlett Housing Solutions implemented a Housing-First homeless assistance approach. This approach prioritizes providing people experiencing homelessness with permanent housing as quickly as possible and then providing comprehensive support services to promote sustainable housing. The Housing-First model enables people to become housed first and then work to regain control over their lives and their health in a safe, secure environment; their home versus a shelter.
Bartlett Housing Solutions has an Emergency Triage Shelter to help provide immediate care for those who have recently or unexpectedly experienced homelessness.
Located in Morgantown, WV, at 20 Scott Avenue (Old Ramada Inn), this facility is often referred to as our ‘front door’ to our program and serves as a temporary place for individuals and families to stay when they have nowhere else to go. The triage center is now open 24 hours a day.
At Bartlett Housing Solutions, we offer special services for those who are in an emergency situation. If you are in need of our Emergency Services, please read below on the situation or scenarios that may fall under our Emergency Services call to action.
Bartlett Housing Solutions offers Transitional Housing, or Bridge Housing, programs for our clients. This program targets and prioritizes two growing and vulnerable subpopulations of folks experiencing homelessness: families with children and youth ages 18-24. Although it serves all demographics, priority is given to those in the targeted populations.
Once the client is ready to move beyond the transitional housing program, they then move into our Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) Program. This community-based program aims to return individuals and families to housing as quickly as possible and then provide comprehensive in-home case management for a minimum of 1 year. In this program, our case management team is focused on housing stabilization and sustainability.
Bartlett Housing Solutions provides a Permanent Supportive Housing Program to assist and support our clients on their journey to ending homelessness. This program enables people to become housed first and then work to regain control over their lives and their health in a safe, secure environment. Permanent Supporting Housing has a proven record of success, due to its combination of providing quality, affordable housing with an array of accessible support services.
Bartlett Housing Solutions is able to provide an Affordable Housing program, located at the Nitor Suites and Apartments complex at West Run. Affordable housing is housing that is appropriate for the needs of a range of very low to moderate-income households and priced so that these households are also able to meet other basic living costs such as food, clothing, transport, medical care, and education.
